Competition: win a cashmere scarf

The nights are drawing in, the days are getting colder, and it’s high time we did our bit at Measured Progress to help at least one lucky reader make it through the winter months with a little bit of style.

We’re pleased to announce another competition with the good folks at Savile Rogue to give away one of their luxury scarves. Savile Rogue, purveyors of the world’s finest football scarves, have a cashmere scarf in Blackpool colours to give away.

If you’re not familiar with them, Savile Rogue scarves give a nod to football terraces of yesteryear, shunning in-your-face logos and cheap nylon in favour of a traditional bar design and the comfort, quality and warmth of top quality cashmere.

We don’t run these kind of competitions lightly, and without high praise from previous winners, we wouldn’t be doing so again. One previous winner of our competition is on record as saying the scarf is “bloody lovely” so it’s definitely worth winning.

So…what do I have to do to win one of these things, I hear you cry. It’s pretty simple and all you have to do is answer the following question:

“When was the last time Blackpool scored three goals in a Championship league game?”

Email the answer to theteam@measuredprogress.co.uk with your answer, with Scarf Competition as the email heading, and your name will be in the hat. The deadline is Sunday 16th November, so any entries after then won’t be eligible. One small caveat: the scarf can only be posted to UK addresses I’m afraid – apologies to our exiled supporters!

UPDATE: It seems the competition has attracted some spam entries, so please try to make your entry a little less automated to help us pick out the genuine entries. Throw in a sentence or two about your current hopes for Blackpool’s season so we can identify it’s not a spam entry. Do not include your address or phone number – I’ll contact the winner by email once the draw has been done to get postage details. Thanks!

***ENTRIES DIRECTED HERE FROM MONEYSAVINGEXPERT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED***
