Measured Progress is a website about Blackpool FC. Founded in July 2013, it was a collaboration between three other Blackpool-focused websites with the aim of providing a one-stop shop for fans interested in an independent take on events at Bloomfield Road.

In a nutshell, the site was founded with the intention of providing content for the enjoyment of it, as opposed to chasing hits with spurious transfer rumours and tabloid nonsense. The archived material of the founders’ previous sites can be found on these pages too.

In truth, as the malaise around Bloomfield Road has developed over the past couple of the years, the rate at which new content has been produced has slowed to almost a complete halt. For now, Measured Progress remains online as a means of preserving the archive, but there may still be new posts from time to time, although don’t bank on it.
