Welcome to Measured Progress

Introducing…Measured Progress.

Welcome to the all-new website dedicated to Blackpool FC. Measured Progress is a collaborative project between three prominent sites dedicated to Blackpool FC – the Seasiders Podcast, Tangerine Dreaming and Up The ‘Pool. With the aim of providing a one-stop shop for fans interested in an independent take on events at Bloomfield Road, Measured Progress will provide content on a regular basis.

Measured Progress will offer a range of written content from match coverage, statistical analyses, in-depth tactics articles, and opinion pieces, as well as the Seasiders Podcast from John Aspinall, Nick Smith and the team. From time to time we will also be giving a platform to guest writers with something different to say.

In a nutshell, we will be providing content for the enjoyment of it, as opposed to chasing hits with spurious transfer rumours and tabloid nonsense. Blackpool FC is our collective passion, and we’d like to share that with you.

The archived material of our previous sites can now be found on these pages and over the coming days, weeks and months there will be lots of new content too. Please bear in mind that the current sparse design you see before you is only temporary – we’ll be launching our full design soon.

This week we will be publishing interviews conducted with a number of Blackpool supporters’ groups, a season preview and a look forward to our opening match of the season at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium.

Whatever the outcome, it’s sure to be another fascinating season at Bloomfield Road.

We’re ready. Are you?
